Simple Lifestyle Changes Have Huge Effect

I just finished drinking some tea. On the face of it that’s hardly 

anything to write about, but I don’t like tea. This was given to 
me by a friend, who travels to China on a regular basis, and he 
swears it is the best tea in the world. 

So I had two problems:1) I don’t much like tea…and 2) The product 
came from China. The first doesn’t need any explanation, and
the second is that the Chinese cheat at everything. Unless you
buy directly from the source, you never know what you are really
getting. It isn’t just China, but they are the biggest crooks, when
it comes to labeling.

If you doubt this, just look up articles about counterfitting in 
Asia. It is the second biggest business in the region, and it
permeates all levels of society. If you go to China and buy 
Marlboro cigarettes, for instance, there is a 99% chance they
will be fakes. The same is true in Thailand, Korea, Vietnam,
and other countries.

You can see why I’m a little uneasy, when it comes to food 
products from that area, and that doesn’t even include the 
Japanese nuclear meltdown. 

But my friend’s tea was great! (I may have just jinxed myself.)
I would recommend it to you, but I have no idea what it says on
the box. (Sucker!)

A reader, who has been following some of my advice, has lost 
close to 40 pounds, dropping from 240 to 200. He did a couple 
of simple things.

1) He walks one hour every day. (He started at only 20 minutes.)

2) He changed the way he eats.

He used to eat all day, and at night, too. Night time was when 
he ate mostly junk, while watching TV.

Now, he eats a big breakfast, a moderate lunch, and he has a salad
for dinner. His only between meal snacks are either vegetables,
or fruit. After dinner, he doesn’t eat again, until breakfast. He says
that the "no food after dinner" rule he imposed on himself was 
responsible for half of his weight loss to date.

Walking…and no food after dinner. That doesn’t require a lot
of sacrifice. I would say that 99% of people could do that. The
big question is, why don’t they?
