Comments From the Coach About My Enteric Coated Fish Oil
Posted: May 10th, 2009 | Author: Dr. Bill | No Comments »For as long as I’ve been in Medicine, athletes have been looking for a competitive edge. Many professional athletes turned to amphetamines early on, and with all the talk about steroids, that kind of gets lost in the mix.
Back in the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s (it almost seems like a lifetime ago), many professional baseball locker rooms were full of pills. They just sat out in the open, and players scooped them up and washed them down with a longneck beer.
The justification was that the travel wore them out, and they needed the amphetamines just to get back to a normal level. Of course, the all night bar hopping had nothing to do with it (wink-wink, nod-nod).
Then steroids came along, and nobody heard about the amphetamines anymore, because steroids were a bigger story. But amphetamine use didn’t stop, it just wasn’t a big juicy story, compared to the beefy bodies and home run derbies.
Maybe someday it will stop, and I mean all of it, but I could just be dreaming.
Athletes should be taking my ultra pure pharmaceutical grade fish oil, if they want to help alleviate their everyday aches and pains, and not drugs that will leave their bodies wasted, before their time. Did you ever notice that many top athletes die young?
Not enough people wonder why. We love our sports so much, we’re willing to overlook what is really going on in the business.
Here’s a letter from someone on my product, and I’m talking about Dr. Bill’s Powerhouse Omega Formula.
“Dr. Bill,
I haven’t done a scientific assessment, but I feel that I have less aches and pains and bodily annoyances using your formula. As one of the baseball coaches at the Suffolk County Community College at Selden Campus, I can tell you that I have recommended your formula to my student baseball athletes, especially due to the value it can add to their busy lives.
It also helps reduce inflammations caused by throwing and pitching.
As the head coach of the Riverhead Tomcats, of the newly formed Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, which will start play on June 1st 2009, I shall make all the collegiate players aware of your product and how it benefits them as athletes.”
Coach Ron
And here was my response to the good coach:
“Many thanks, Coach Ron. It’s really heartening to know that there are still guys out there “who work hard and play by the rules.
I can only hope more coaches do it like you do. You’re a stand up guy. And maybe I’ll catch a game, if the timing is right.”
