A Twit Starts To Tweet
Posted: June 22nd, 2011 | Author: Dr. Bill Stillwell | No Comments »Father’s Day brought a new addition to the twittering classes,
one B.O. At least that’s what he signed off as, after a highly
forgetable tweet about fatherhood.
The Commander is going to use Twitter in his re-election
campaign, which has, so far, raised the largest sum of money
in the history of the world, for an election. At the moment,
B.O. has 8.6 million followers on Twitter. Let’s hope B.O.’s
account doesn’t get hijacked, like the former representative
from Queens, Anthony (The) Weiner, who is now looking for
a job at MSNBC, or CNN, where all bad Democrats go, when
they need a high paying job (those that aren’t already highly
paid lobbyists, or those not sitting on a dozen or more corporate
or foundation boards.)
Maybe Weiner can get a job as a gun runner at the Department
of Justice, where terrorists are Job 1 (or selling guns to Mexican
drug cartels is). Whichever is the priority, the Attorney General
doesn’t seem to know which way is up, unless he follows the signs,
you remember the song…right?
"Signs, signs, everywhere there’s signs
Friggin’ up the scenery, breakin’ my mind
Do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the sign?"
Personally I can’t wait for B.O.’s next tweet. Maybe a little
something about Mommar G, or something on the state of
the economy.
"Those shovel ready jobs weren’t as shovel ready as we’d
been led to believe. B.O."
There would be more jobs if those damn ATM machines weren’t
wiping them out, as fast as we could create them. B.O."
"There are going to be some bumps in the road on the way to
recovery, which by the way, happened last summer…right Joe?
B.O."
"Anybody know where I left my golf clubs? B.O."
"She was so ugly she could make a mule back away from an oat
bin. Will Rogers"
"Have you ever voted for someone because you were too lazy to
commit suicide? Dr. Bill"
Hey…that wasn’t bad, and Will Rogers is always good. Good luck
on the Tweet thing, Commander.
Here’s a tweet I’d like to leave on 20 Jan 2013.
"1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Moved. Left no forwarding address.
