A friend of mine attended the “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington,
D.C., over the weekend. Here is his report from the event:
“Bill,
Being a veteran of Washington, I drove in Saturday morning against
the advice of the mainstream media. I knew that I could find parking
quite easily and pretty close to the event, in spite of the dire
warnings. I used all the savvy I had learned in eight years of criss
crossing the city, Monday through Friday.
I rolled over the 14th Street Bridge, took a right on D Street and
found the whole street empty. Wow, that was tough… and I was
positioned for a quick exit, once the event was over. No sooner had
I parked than many others followed suit. I think they were just as
surprised as I was. I locked down the car and started walking up
14th, past the Bureau of Engraving on the right and the Holocaust
Museum on the left.
Two blocks up, I could see large groups of people at the stoplights
and a lot of Metro Traffic people. When I reached the corner, I
could see people coming from all directions. Crossing 14th Street,
you could see large streams of people heading to the Mall area,
which is between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. I
headed up toward the Washington Monument, so I could see down to the
Lincoln Memorial. It was around 8:45AM and the middle section of the
mall was already full. The right was filling up fast, from
Constitution Ave, so I went left. By the time I got to the left
side, it was half full and filling fast. I found a convenient tree
to park under, as it was already about 85 degrees.
This had to be the quietest big crowd I’ve ever been around. They
were friendly and extremely polite. People ranged in age, from
babies to people in their 90′s. There were people using canes,
crutches and wheelchairs. There were no anti Obama signs, no anti
government signs, although there were some very clever things on T
Shirts that made me laugh.
The rally organizers had plenty of Portable Johns and there was
water for sale, at reasonable prices. People continued to stream in
and the area I was in was full by 9:30. I communicated by cell phone
with other friends who were a full mile behind me, and others who
were even further back. I’ve been to a few events here, over the
years, and this one was huge.
The program started about 10:15 and rolled along smoothly. I never
heard the words Democrat, Republican, Liberal, Obama, Pelosi, or
Reid. What I heard was a call to prayer and reflection. The military
was honored, as it should be. Many others were also honored. About
1:00PM, I started walking back toward the Washington Monument.
People were still coming into the area. The area around the
Washington Monument was full.
As I walked back to 14th Street, people were still coming in from
all directions.
On the CBS Evening News, with KC and the Sunshine Band, the crowd
estimate was put at 87,000. The Washington Post barely mentioned the
event. The mainstream media all but ignored the event, preferring to
show an outraged AL Sharpton, at a counter event that drew about
1000 people.
As I mentioned earlier, I have been to a few events at the Mall. My
estimate of the crowd was 400,000 to 500,000. Half a million of the
most respectful and well behaved people I have ever seen here, in
Washington. Hell, they even picked up their garbage. Quite a
contrast to the last big Earth Day event, where it took the city
days and millions of dollars, to clean up. (Go Green!)
Something large is going on, but I doubt any of these ideologues,
here, comprehend what’s coming. I was reminded this morning of
Jackson P, who used to send out Memo’s whenever someone got fired at
the company, that always ended, “We wish him well in his new
endeavor.”
Hey, I ordered a couple of copies of your new sex treatise for my
sons:

If they knew half as much as they think they do, they wouldn’t be in
trouble with their wives all the time. If the sex is good, you can
watch football all weekend, without any complaints. (That’s the way
it is here!)

Last week, after experiencing some technical difficulties, I
launched my special report on sex, called “Maybe You’ll Get Some
Tonight!” Actually, it’s called “Dr. Bill’s Secrets To Sizzling Sex”
and you can get a copy right here:
https://www.favoriteformulas.com/sizzlingsex?awt_l=GnZNU&awt_m=1gdfc12QoYz2rW
I have an Ebonic’s version coming out this week, called “Shizzle fo
Yo Dizzle.” (Not really.)
I wrote this report after getting scores of questions on the subject
of sex, about which we all like to joke around and on which we all
consider ourselves experts. But the truth is…when it comes down to
it…we Americans are not all that well informed on the subject, in
spite of a $50 billion dollar porn industry, strip clubs and “adult”
toy shops.
If any of that helped people out, in their day to day lives, except
to make some people very wealthy, I wouldn’t get all the questions,
on a daily basis. So based on the theory that your kids know more
than you do, I thought I might pen a manual of sorts for those of us
who learned the trade in the dark and in a hurry.
That would be those of us over 50, but not yet dead… which means
that we can still have sex. We may not be able to have Cirque De
Soleil acrobatic sex, but we can still have a pretty good time,
provided we know a thing or two about what to do.
So if you need a hand…get yourself a copy…and you may find that
you still have a trick or two left in your arsenal:

One of the questions I often get is this: “Dr. Bill, if I just cut
back on what I’m eating, will I lose weight?”
Yes, you will. You’ll lose some weight and then… you’ll more than
likely gain it back. Then the question becomes: “What do I do now?”
We all know deprivation diets don’t work. 96% of people using a
deprivation diet fail to lose weight. That’s good news for Weight
Watchers, Nutri-System, Jenny Craig and a myriad of other diet
plans.
The last time I counted, there were over 40 large scale diet
operations making really serious money. One of the reasons they do
so well is that people believe that if Weight Watchers didn’t work,
then Jenny Craig will. Or Nutri System will. Or the next big thing
will.
All these diets focus on one thing, called caloric restriction. From
Day 1, they focus on teaching you to eat less and in many cases, a
lot less. They give you all the foods you like, like cheesecake,
chocolate cake, cookies, you get my drift. Now these are low fat, or
no fat versions of the real thing, usually loaded with some form of
sugar.
What they calculate is that you have to have this sugar in order to
forget you’re only consuming 1200 calories a day for women and 1500
for men. In my humble opinion, these calorie counts are dangerously
low and sooner or later, your body is going to rebel (hence, the 96%
failure rate for such diets).
The failure usually comes with a yo-yo, meaning that you gain the
weight back and then some. What you have done is exacerbate the
problem by following bad diet advice.
What you have to do is change what goes in the old piehole, on a
regular basis. One of my biggest weaknesses was always bread, which
is a food that makes a big difference. I include pizza in the bread
category and I ate a whole lotta pizza, over the years.
I eat pizza maybe once, every six or eight weeks, or so, now and I
order the smallest one I can get. I don’t finish off a big pie by
myself anymore, which made me a favorite of a number of delivery
drivers over the years. I still do eat a large amount of food,
though. It just happens to fall under protein, fruits and
vegetables.
Notice what isn’t included.
Bread, pastries, desserts, chips, pretzels, soda, fruit juice, rice,
french fries, pasta and any packaged foods. That’s the stuff that
makes you fat and there isn’t any way around that.
The human body was built to run on protein, fruits and vegetables,
not french fries, donuts and slurpees.
The protein can be meat, poultry, fish, eggs…the body sees it all
the same way. There is no hierarchy of proteins, where chicken
breast is better for you than flank steak and turkey is better than
pork, or lamb. Your body needs a good amount of protein every day
and it doesn’t care whether it came from Sammie the Salmon, or
Clarence the Cow.
Along with the protein, you need to eat a rainbow of vegetables and
fruit and the more colors, the better. If this is what you fill up
on, you can eat whenever you’re hungry and stop when you’re full.
And you will lose weight and keep it off, even when you allow
yourself the occassional treat.
I have a friend of mine doing this right now and he eats twice a
day, lunch and dinner. In the morning, he drinks coffee and he isn’t
hungry. That’s okay, although personally, I need breakfast. I know
others that eat 3, 4, 5 or 6 times a day. It doesn’t really matter,
as long as you eat the good stuff and stop when you’re full.
In accounting, they talk about LIFO and FIFO, meaning last in, first
out and first in, first out. When you are eating crud it’s called
FINO, meaning first in, never out. It shows up as fat.
When you’ve been eating crud for a spell, like 99% of us, you need
to make a couple of switches. First, you get on my Powerhouse Omega
Formula, an enteric coated, pharmaceutical grade, concentrated fish
oil from the deep arctic ocean, that will start rehabilitating your
metabolism.
Then, you start to gradually phase out the crud that’s been going in
the old piehole.
80% of the weight loss battle is determined by what you put in your
mouth and the other 20% is related to exercise, sunlight, sleep and
supplements. The Powerhouse Omega Formula is vitally important,
because it functions like an “ON” switch. Flip it, and all the right
circuits start to connect.
Then, give your body the right fuel and just watch the fat melt off:

I have a buddy who is a personal trainer and a good one, from what I
understand. He told me a story, a few weeks back, that I remembered
today and thought I would write about. When he got in the training
business, about two decades ago, most of the people doing training
were into what is called “progression” training.
It was mostly weight lifting and they scoffed at anything else. What
they trained you to do was to lift heavier and heavier weight, which
was the way they were trained. Now…this kind of training did make
you stronger…but there were a lot of drawbacks…such as injuries
and some of them were serious. There are a lot of broken-down men
out there that trained this way.
They blew out knees, hips, shoulders, biceps, triceps and backs.
Some of them are lucky to be able to walk. And yet, this kind of
training mentality still exists and is even being taught to people
who don’t know any better.
My friend, the trainer, did this stuff for years and he broke down,
with shoulder injuries that required a guy like me to put him back
together. As you may know, my specialty was knees and hips. Many
surgeons have a part of the body in which we specialize. While my
friend was recovering, he had a great deal of time to think about
how he was training and decided he had to find another way, other
than “progression.”
He figured out that he should have listened to his body, when it
sent out warning signals…one of which is pain. He was taught to
ignore the pain and just keep on pushing the envelope, which is a
recipe for disaster.
He found a guy in New York that taught him a whole new way to train,
one that incorporated a number of things that were considered “sissy
training” by the heavy “weight” gurus. But when he saw a strength
demonstration, in which the guy outlifted the weight guys, he was
hooked and he has been training that way, ever since. I’ll tell you
one thing — he could probably lift up the front end of car, without
any help, and he doesn’t use any weight to train, except his own.
He hasn’t had an injury in 15 years and doesn’t need 3 days to
recover from a workout, like he did in the old days. He doesn’t have
any aches and pains either, except the few that come naturally from
aging. No matter how good a shape we’re in, we’re going to have some
of those.
Working out, or exercising, should not be painful. If it is,
something is wrong and you should have it checked out. Don’t think,
like a lot of men, that you can diagnose the problem (I’ve done this
myself…so I’m warning you). A friend of mine thought he had a
shoulder problem recently, but it turned out that the problem was
his neck and it was a serious problem. He required surgery and he is
now okay, but his initial diagnosis was wrong.
I developed my new Joint Health Formula to help with everyday aches
and pains, stuff that we all have, but that doesn’t require surgery,
or very specialized treatment. I like to call it “joint grease,” but
it will help with tissue repair, too, something that no NSAID or
pain meds will do. Those drugs just basically mask pain, while the
situation deteriorates, and they have a number of toxic side
effects.
My Joint Health Formula:
https://www.favoriteformulas.com/jointhealth?awt_l=GnZNU&awt_m=1oKLJ1M3j2z2rW
Exercise should never be painful. If anybody gives you the “no pain,
no gain” business…just walk away. They don’t know what they are
talking about.
I’ll be back tomorrow with more.

While we are busy living, we are are also busy burning our cells.
Our cells, billions of them, actually determine how long we are
going to live. Inside each cell is a genetic timeclock, which
determines how long that cell is going to last.
Scientists at the University of California at San Fransisco have
found that fish oil may be the true elixir of youth. According to a
study done there, fish oil slows down the genetic “fuse” that
determines the lifetime of cells.
In the past, I have written that fish oil protects against heart
disease, improves survival rates after a heart attack, reduces
mental decline in old age and helps protect your eyes, among many
other things.
Although we know omega-3′s have powerful effects, the mechanisms
behind these effects are not very well understood. This new research
shows that omega-3 fatty acids have a direct effect on biological
aging, by slowing down your “burn rate.”
Let me explain. Your chromosomes have a protective cap on their ends
and as you age, the caps gets smaller. The caps are called
telomeres, which are copied strands of DNA that have a function like
the plastic end of shoelaces. They prevent the ends of the
chromosomes from becoming damaged and they keep the cell nucleus
organized and contained.
Each time a cell divides, its telomeres get shorter, until a
critical point is reached. The DNA then becomes damaged and the
cells stop dividing, becomes senescent (old) and eventually dies. In
this way, the telomere is like a biological fuse.
The rate at which the fuse “burns” can vary between individual
people and individual cells. This is believed to have an impact on
age related diseases.
The study, conducted on 608 patients over 5 years, showed clearly
that there was a direct correlation with omega-3 fatty acid intake.
Those with the highest intake of omega-3′s had the shortest and
slowest rate of telomere shortening. Those with the lowest intake of
omega-3′s had the highest rate of telomere shortening.
In other words, those people taking fish oil had the slowest burn
rate and those not taking it had the highest. These findings clearly
show that fish oil has an anti-aging effect and the consumption of
fish oil protects against cellular aging. That means you will live
longer and healthier, providing you get some exercise and eat right.

(My apologies: the order page for my new special report Dr. Bill’s
Secrets For Sizzling Sex is not ready yet. I’m hoping to get it
rolling Thursday morning. In the meantime, here’s a new article for
you)
This morning, while drinking some tea and making a “to do” list, I
heard an advertisment for a Spike Lee documentary about the oil
spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Having seen several “Spike Lee Joints,”
I didn’t have much hope that he could add anything to what we
already know about what happened. Spike has trouble cobbling
together anything that makes much sense and my first thought was
that he wouldn’t be the guy I would pick to make sense of the whole
enchilada.
But then came the anouncement that Brad Pitt, the mellow pothead,
part time architect, doctrinaire liberal and poster boy for scraggly
beards, is featured in the docudrama, rethinking his opposition to
the death penalty. One upping Commander Obama (who is still
searching for some ass to kick), Pitt wants the death penalty
invoked for environmental polluters.
Juging strictly on the number of bad movies he’s starred in, maybe
he should be first on the platform.
I know he’s invested some of his own money to help rebuild in New
Orleans and that’s all well and good, but celebrities never do
anything strictly for charity. There’s always a hook and Brad has
been “featured” several times on television, doing his charitable
work, usually about the same time he has a movie hitting the
theatres. Nothing pays like charity, as they say in Hollywood.
It’s funny that Pitt would rethink his philosophical position on the
death penalty for polluters, when there are so many more richly
deserving schmucks to be fried.
But let’s apply his new standard to his own lifestyle. He and his
other half own six or seven homes, all over the world. They travel
by private jet, everywhere they go, hiring and firing staff, like
ancient kings and queens. In other words, they leave a huge “carbon
footprint,” to quote another idiot, Fat Al Gore. So when you add it
all up, he’s going to have to hang himself, or actually marry
Angelina. I believe the Greeks called that being caught between
Scylla and Charybdis, or, for us commoners, it’s known as being
between a rock and a hard place.
While I’m sure Spike was enthralled with Brad’s vision, one idiot
celebrity to another, I’m not and I’m sure you’re not. The fact is
that the whole oil spill was vastly overblown by Obama and the
media, so they could pass the heinous Cap and Trade Bill, which
would ensure that this country ends up on the scrap heap of history.
It’s already cost tens of thousands of jobs that are not coming back
and maybe Brad and Spike can cover that expense. (Don’t count on it
…they have to be in Cannes soon, and you have to rent your yacht
early, along with your helicopter and 100 bodyguards.)
Most folks know it’s virtually impossible to take my Powerhouse
Omega Formula and still be the village idiot. As Bill Murray would
say…”I got that goin’ for me.” There certainly is a huge heap of
brain damage out there and there is a limited supply of the
treatment:
https://www.favoriteformulas.com?awt_l=GnZNU&awt_m=1gLVxs1c2Yz2rW
Since celebrities and other liberals take a long time to assimilate
what is actually good for them, you have a chance to step to the
front of the line and keep yourself in tip-top shape… and have
many a laugh, at their expense.
Brad Pitt’s gravestone will read: “He was as dumb as he was
handsome.”
I’ll be back tomorrow – I hope with my new special report.

There certainly are more than five reasons to take fish oil,
particularly my Powerhouse Omega Formula, but I realize you don’t
have time to read a book on the subject, so I’ll try and hit the
most important reasons.
https://www.favoriteformulas.com?awt_l=GnZNU&awt_m=1qQLxIVO42z2rW
1) Fish oil protects you from stroke and heart attack. In Europe,
where doctors are more interested in preventative medicine, almost
all cardiology patients are put on fish oil. We are just starting to
get this message.
When plaque builds up on the arterial walls and then ruptures, it
causes what’s known as thrombosis, which is a fancy way of saying a
blood clot. If that clot occurs in an artery in the brain, or if a
piece of clot breaks free and lodges in a brain artery, it causes a
stroke. When the clot plugs an artery in the heart, it causes a
heart attack. Research has shown that omega 3 fatty acids reduce
plaque formation and they make platelets less sticky, so they tend
to prevent clots before they can cause any damage.
2) Fish oil is believed to help reduce breast, colon and prostate
cancers. These are three of the most common forms of cancer and they
all kill. Is there anyone out there who doesn’t know someone who has
had one of these cancers? Science tells us that omega 3′s protect
normal, healthy cells and discourage their development into
cancerous cells, inhibit unwanted cellular growth and promote
apoptosis, which is the death of abnormal cancer cells.
3) Fish oil seems to reduce depression and psychosis. Fish oil
doesn’t just make you smarter. Psychiatric research in England has
found that fish oil alleviates the symptoms of depression, bipolar
disease and psychosis.
4) Fish oil sharpens memory and intelligence. DHA and EPA omega 3
fatty acids help to enhance memory, concentration and sharpen the
intellect. Studies among students show that fish oil supplementation
significantly improved attention span, memory recall, improved IQ
levels and provided better concentratration.
5) Fish oil reduces pain and inflammation. Omega 3′s are natural
anti-inflammatories. They help reduce pain, inflammation and improve
joint mobility in serious conditions, such as osteoarthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis and anything that ends in “itis.”
In addition, my Powerhouse Omega Formula is 100% natural and among
the purest and richest forms of omega 3 fats. You cannot get the
omega 3 fats you need by eating, unless you feel like eating a huge
amount of fish (and risk taking in a bunch of toxins you don’t want
or need).
Put what you now know to work for you. You’ll be making a wise
decision.
I’ll be back tomorrow with more.
